#Showbiz: Working culture on film sets is a let down, says Zahiril Adzim

KUALA LUMPUR: After being in the entertainment scene for a decade, award-winning actor Zahiril Adzim is upset that the working culture on film sets has not changed much.

He said that not only some production companies lacked professionalism, some artistes were just displaying bad attitude, making the 35-year-old star feeling disappointed by the whole entertainment scene.

“There are still many issues in the entertainment industry which haven’t changed much. I don’t think I can bear having to face with such situation anymore.

“It’s been 10 years since I started out as an actor, and we are still riddled with similar issues until now. Rather than stressing myself over things which are simply beyond my control, it’s better for me to avoid it at all cost and give way to others,” he said in a news report today.

Zahiril, who took home the Promising Actor award at the 22nd Malaysian Film Festival for his first feature film KAMI The Movie in 2008, is currently filming KL Gangster Underworld 2, an original series for iflix.

“I’m not saying that I want to quit the industry altogether, but the situation is so frustrating,” he said.
