#Showbiz: Don't blame fans for song failure, says Azlan to fellow artistes

KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Nor Azlan Rosle is not one to hold music fans responsible should his songs fail to receive the much-needed response.

Instead, the frontman of Azlan & The Typewriter, will continue to churn out new tunes to suit the masses’ needs.

The 37-year-old artiste said that he had never felt the need to be defensive should the songs he released did not make it in the market.

Azlan said he understood the concept that music listeners were the customers who had the right to choose the best products offered in the market.

“In any business, merchants must always go by the maxim that customers are always right. As singers, our songs are our commodity, whereby if fans don’t fancy the tunes, don’t get mad and blame them for their inability to accept your work.

“If our songs fail to appeal to our listeners, then we should aim at coming out with winning pieces in future,” he said in a news report today.
