KUALA LUMPUR: Hyejeong of popular K-Pop girl group AOA has ended her romantic relationship with top rookie actor Ryu Ui Hyun.
According to Koreaboo, the two celebrities had called it quits due to their busy schedules.
A TV Daily report revealed that Hyejeong, 25, and Ryu, 19, recently came to a mutual decision to end their relationship but remain as friends since their professional schedules were just too packed, which caused them to drift apart.
Hyejeong is apparently busy preparing for AOA’s comeback schedule, while Ryu has been tied up with filming his string of dramas that include Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life.
Ryu’s agency Wayz Company confirmed the break up with a simple statement that read: “It’s true that Ryu Ui Hyun and Hyejeong recently broke up.”
FNC Entertainment, which represents Hyejeong, also released a similar message to confirm the separation.
Reports of the two stars dating surfaced last April and the two later confirmed that they had been dating since December last year after meeting through their web drama, Can Love Be Refunded?
