KUALA LUMPUR: Former K-Pop idol trainee Han Seo Hee recently shocked many followers during a live online broadcast where she confessed to having tried to take her own life.
According to Koreaboo, the 24-year-old talent revealed that she was taken to Inha University Hospital where she even hurled profanities at the people around her. She added that she had also acted violently at the hospital.
This apparently happened after the death of popular Korean singer and actress Goo Hara who committed suicide on Nov 24 last year. Han was said to be a very close friend of Goo.
It was also later reported that Han had suffered abuse while dating an Ulzzang Generation contestant named Jung Da Eun.
Han explained that after she went to a doctor to look at her injuries, the doctor had then asked her if she was the late Goo Hara’s friend and recommended that she be hospitalised.
During the broadcast, she also apologise and thanked the hospital employees for keeping the incident private.
“I’m talking about this during my live broadcast, but to the Inha Hospital staff, I’m really sorry. I know this sounds like an excuse, but I really don’t remember. Why did I act like that? I think I lost my mind. I’m very thankful and sorry that you worried about me without posting anything about it online. Sob… I’m reflecting upon my actions,” she said.
