#Showbiz: BTS' Jimin voted top Korean celeb people want to give Valentine's Day chocs to

 

 

KUALA LUMPUR: It seems that Jimin of international K-Pop sensation BTS has stolen the hearts of many this Valentine's Day.

According to Koreaboo, a survey conducted on which star Korean fans would want to give chocolates to the most on this day of romance, saw the fresh-faced idol taking the No.1 spot.

Apparently, 46,028 people decided that the 24-year-old singer-songwriter should be "the one", which resulted in a landslide victory of 23,824 votes or 51.8 per cent of the total.

When asked about why they had selected Jimin, the majority answered along the lines of the charismatic idol possessing an adorable charm and loving personality.

The survey was conducted by an online math education company for middle and high school students in South Korea.

The company's ceo said: “Jimin was chosen for his cute image that he creates with his bright and warm smile, as well as his caring and loving personality that have stolen women’s hearts!”

Aside from Jimin, the survey also saw singer Kang Daniel, 23, in second place with 17,738 votes.

Singer, actor and TV host Lee Seung Gi, 33, took the third spot with 2,661 votes, while hunky actor Park Bo Gum, 26, was ranked at fouth place with the remaining 1,715 votes.

Meanwhile, BTS fans, or Army, can look forward to hearing the popular group's latest song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon!

Koreaboo reported that The seven-member K-Pop outfit would be performing a brand new song on the popular American TV host's show during a special telecast on Feb 23.

According to Rolling Stone, BTS will have an interview with Fallon, followed by a performance of a new, never before heard song from its upcoming album, Map Of The Soul: 7.

The episode will also feature the music group and Fallon taking a tour of New York’s iconic landmarks.

Apparently, Fallon had said: "We wanted to do something special for BTS and, at the same time, celebrate New York City. BTS really knocked it out of the park. You’re not going to believe how big and fun their performance is — they took over Grand Central Terminal."
