KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer and actress Erra Fazira has called on netizens to cease following a Facebook account under her name, because it is not her's.
In a news report yesterday, 46-year-old Erra said the account's real owner had been found to be posting malicious, immoral and provocative posts on social media.
"It used to be my account, but it was hacked by someone a few years ago.
"I reported this to Facebook, and it disappeared for a while. But yesterday, one of my friends told me that the account was back and it has been posting malicious, immoral and provocative things, and netizens have been very angry," she said.
Erra called on netizens to report the account to Facebook, so that it could be taken down.
The account has about 100,000 followers.
