KUALA LUMPUR: Hollywood star Richard Gere, who is father to two children, was recently blessed with another child.
According to Spanish magazine Hola!, the 70-year-old actor and his wife Alejandra Silva, 37, welcomed their second son to the world.
Their first child, 14-month-old Alexander, was born in February last year.
It was not revealed where their latest baby was born, but the couple is believed to be spending family time together at their ranch on the outskirts of New York.
The "Pretty Woman" star, who also has Homer, 20, with ex-wife Carey Lowell, had previously said that he had no worries about being an older father.
Silva has a 7-year-old son with her ex-husband Govin Friedland as well.
Meanwhile, Gere had apparently confessed recently to "instantly" falling in love with Silva the first time he met her five years ago.
He said: "Instant from my side. I instantly became happy just looking at her. It was one of those powerful things."
Gere was also previously married to supermodel Cindy Crawford.
When queried on whether he felt the same connection with his past spouses, he said: "Yes, I've been married three times, but it didn't happen with the kind of power of this one. But I do remember the first time I met each of my wives."
Gere married Silva in 2018 after they began dating in 2015, despite their 33-year age difference.
The couple made headlines last year after Silva posted a photo on Instagram of the Dalai Lama touching her pregnant stomach.
