#Showbiz: BCL shares poignant dedication video to Ashraf

KUALA LUMPUR: This year's Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration has been a poignant one for Indonesian singer and actress Bunga Citra Lestari since it is the first without her husband, Ashraf Sinclair, who passed away in February.

In a video clip that she uploaded on her YouTube channel yesterday, Bunga expressed her love, loss and memories on the matter.

"For my love, although you are no longer physically here, your spirit will always endure in our souls. And praying for you is my way to continuously love you.

"Maaf zahir batin, ya sayang. For my beloved, I miss you every day. We know that you would want us to be happy always," she said.

In the clip, titled BCL 'Dear Love...', Bunga also shared that she was extremely grateful to be surrounded by her beloved family to celebrate Aidilfitri even though Ashraf was missing this time around.

"At this moment, we increasingly realise that outside of the heavy challenges that are present in our lives, we are still very blessed to have the rest of us all together.

It was reported that just after five hours of being uploaded, the heart-warming video had already garnered over 461,000 views and more than 131,000 likes.

Prior to that, Bunga had posted an IG Story where she shared the link to the video.

In it, she also revealed that she had finally gathered enough strength to talk about her journey to carry on with her life.

"This was not an easy journey at all. I am still unsure of where I truly am. Sometimes it's like taking two steps ahead and then one step behind.

"But I will try to continue walking, although this is a long process that I will have to endure. At this moment, I am gathering the courage to reveal a little bit of my life and journey," she said.

On Feb 18, the entertainment industry and fans were shocked by the unexpected death of Ashraf at the Metropolitan Medical Centre in Kuningan, Jakarta.
