KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Nora Ariffin today admitted that the girl in the viral video caught kissing with a teenager was her daughter.
In a posting she shared on her Instagram this afternoon, the 47-year-old singer of popular 1990s hit Di Persimpangan Delima, wrote: "Allahuakbar. I am disappointed to admit that (the girl in the video) is her (daughter Putri Dahlia, 15).
"As a mother, I try to teach, guide her the best I can in my limited capacity.
"But, there's no telling how things will turn out, even after I've given my best to educate her.
"I pray that she learns from this mistake and becomes a better individual. God willing, she will continue to carry on with her life without having to look back to this episode," said Nora.
Earlier, a video of two teenagers kissing in public, with the girl resembling Nora's third child with her late husband Johan Nawawi, had gone viral.
