#Showbiz: D'Masiv concert sold out in 48 hours, organisers add another show

KUALA LUMPUR: Support for Indonesian rock band D'Masiv's June 2 concert at Zepp KL in Jalan Hang Tuah here has been so positive that organisers added a second show.

Konsert D'Masiv Road to the World organiser Neptunes Presents announced that the Indonesian band's second show would be at 8pm on June 3 at the same venue.

The company's head, actress Nabila Huda Suhaimi, said it did not want to disappoint fans who were unable to get tickets for the first day, which were sold out within 48 hours.

"As tickets were snapped up by fans very quickly, we have decided to open the venue's doors for one more evening as D'Masiv has a huge following in Malaysia," said Nabila.

D'Masiv comprises vocalist Rian Ekky Pradipta, guitarists Dwiki Aditya Marsall and Nurul Damar Ramadan, bassists Rayyi Kurniawan and Iskandar Dinata and drummer Wahyu Piadji.

Former Nidji vocalist Giring would be joining the band on the second day of the concert as a guest artiste.

"D'Masiv's management chose Giring. The show marks the band's 20th anniversary and they have decided to celebrate it in Malaysia," said Nabila.

The band will entertain fans with 25 songs, including 'Pergilah Kasih', 'Jangan Menyerah' and 'Cinta Ini Membunuhku'.
