KUALA LUMPUR: Hip-hop singer MK of K-Clique tied the knot with Siti Hajaar Syeikh Nordin, 26, at Masjid Jami'il Huda, Kampung Melayu Ampang at 9.35am today.
The solemnisation of MK or Muhammad Hairi Amin Hamdan, 27 and Siti Hajaar was conducted by the mosque's deputy registrar of marriages Mahdi Mat Zain and Siti Hajaar's father Datuk Seri Dr Syeikh Nordin Sheikh Ahmad was her wali.
MK gave Siti Hajaar mas kahwin of RM302 and a bracelet.
The singer from Tawau, Sabah and his Klang Valley-born wife also exchanged six trays of gifts.
"Thank God we have finally made it. Things went smoothly as planned. Please pray that our marriage will be happy and blessed," said MK to Berita Harian Online.
The ceremony was attended by 100 guests, who were mainly family members of the newlyweds.
Netizens widely believed that MK was about to get married when he uploaded photographs of himself in baju Melayu and songkok on social media last month.
He also uploaded photos of himself and Siti Hajaar wearing matching clothes, and she also wore a ring, and most recently a brief video of himself attending a marriage course.
