#Showbiz: 35 acts to perform at Hausboom Music 2023

HAVING performed successfully at her Konsert Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in June and last month respectively, the Queen of Rock is ready to take to the stage again today.

Ella, whose full name is Nor Zila Aminuddin, is part of the 35 acts lined up at the two-day Hausboom Music 2023, happening today and tomorrow at the Sepang International Circuit in Selangor.

"Fans can expect a different and perhaps surprising element during my segment at this concert," said Ella, 57, in reference to her recent concert tour performances.

Speaking in an interview, she said although she and her management team had yet to decide on the setlist for the performance, she hopes to deliver something special to her fans with a different set of musicians and arrangements.

"Maybe it will be based on what my fans have been wanting to hear all this time. But we will curate this with a delightful mix of surprises."

Meanwhile, Hausboom chief executive officer Azri Zahier Azmi said, "Hausboom is proud and grateful that the Hausboom Music concert, which was introduced for the first time in 2018, is now entering its third series for this year.

"The event has become renowned for pioneering the fusion of various music genres such as rock, dangdut, R&B and hip-hop in a concert.

"This time, the event will feature not only Malaysian performers but also those from neighbouring countries, namely Singapore and Indonesia."

Emphasising the main objective of Hausboom, he said, "By bringing together 35 performers from different musical backgrounds at one event, we aim to continue revitalising and boosting the country's entertainment industry.

"Hausboom is also dedicated to supporting and celebrating local musicians, ensuring their active presence while providing fans with top-notch and rewarding entertainment.

"This dedication extends to performers from Indonesia and Singapore as well."

The diverse acts during the two-day concert include Search, Datuk M. Nasir, Joe Flizzow, Hujan, Exist, Spider, Bunkface, SonaOne, Shila Amzah, Masdo, Alif Satar & The Locos, Dolla, Baby Shima, Iamneeta, Toko Kilat, 53 STU and Salam Muzik.
