#Showbiz: Nourul game to becoming trainer at PLKN

KUALA LUMPUR: Following the government's recent announcement on reinstating the National Service Training Programme (PLKN), singer Nourul Depp said she was open to the offer to take up the position as one of its trainers.

In a news report yesterday, the 46-year-old artiste-turned-motivational speaker said she would gladly accept the offer if it came her way.

"Why not? I could use my experience as a motivational coach to carry out the tasks in the programme," she said.

Nourul, whose real name is Noorulhuda Abdul Wahab, agreed that bringing back PLKN was one of the ways to inculcate and develop stronger spiritual, mental and physical well-being among the younger generation.

"To prepare these future leaders, who are well-equipped with strong leadership qualities and responsibility, it is only apt to have the programme back on the government's agenda," she said.

Meanwhile, the Penang-born artiste is scheduled to conduct a motivational programme called Firetalk & Showcase With Nourul on Nov 25 at Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur.
