#Showbiz: Mizz Nina says she is Musa's legal adoptive mother

KUALA LUMPUR: Humanitarian activist, Mizz Nina has confirmed the withdrawal of the full and inter-parte custody case for temporary custody of her adopted child, Musa.

She said there should be no dispute since she had official documents that addressed her as Musa's legal guardian.

"I came to court today to respect court procedures and confirm that we have an adoption document that does not have his (Noh's) name written on it.

"So, having this document means there is no dispute.

"I stress that there is no more dispute because this is not a custody case and we have complete adoption documents," she said in a news report today.

Mizz Nina, who was met at the Shah Alam Syariah High Court for the case withdrawal proceedings this morning, added that she wanted Musa to grow up in a healthy environment with a stable family.

"Musa has mama and baba, he also has a big family, neighbours, his school and everyone who loves him. So, I want Musa to be brought up in the best way," she said.

Mizz Nina was accompanied by her husband, Essam Muhammad, and syarie lawyers, Fakhrul Azman Abu Hassan and Mahmud Abdul Jumaat.

Fakhrul Azman also confirmed that Mizz Nina was Musa's legal adoptive mother, and there was no issue because both cases had been officially withdrawn.

"There is no issue. We have withdrawn both cases and the court has allowed us to withdraw.

"The rights of adoption have also been fully given to Mizz Nina, so there is no issue of a custody case.

"The final decision is that Musa's biological mother decided to give full custody to Mizz Nina," he said.

Yesterday, Mizz Nina decided to file the withdrawal of the inter-parte full custody case for temporary custody of Musa.

Fakhrul Azman said that no sulh session took place yesterday and today after Mizz Nina confirmed it in front of the judge.
