KUALA LUMPUR: Radio announcer Radin of Era recently revealed that he once "lived" with 800 pairs of shoes, but that number has been halved now.
In a TikTok video in which he was interviewed by actress Amelia Henderson, Radin or Radin Amir Affendy Ahmad Aruani, 32, said that not every pair of shoes was purchased by him and his friends; fans also gave a large number.
"There were so many of them that I could not wear every pair. So I gradually sold those I felt I did not need, and today I have 400 pairs left," Radin said, adding that he also gave some pairs to needy children.
"Even though I love shoes, I believe in sharing them with my friends and fans as well as those who really need shoes."
Radin, who hails from Perak, has been a radio announcer of Era since 2014 and starred in movies such as Polis Evo 3.
He won the Popular Radio Announcer award at Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 30 in 2016.
