KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and TV host Amelia Henderson says she always ensures the contents for her Sembang Studio podcast are carefully vetted for their relevance and to avoid any controversies.
In a news report yesterday, the 28-year-old was quoted as saying that the podcast team would always give their guests the final say to give their greenlight on the content.
"For Studio Sembang, we have a 'solid censorship' process, which means we'd send the contents to the relevant guests for their final approval, before we upload them online.
"There have been instances when we'd edit several times because guests finally felt that the contents weren't appropriate for public viewing," she said.
Amelia added that she has always believed that it would not do any justice to either party if her guests were not comfortable with the final cut.
"Editing sensitive parts may not necessarily make the content less relevant or fun. It's better for me to avoid any controversial contents at all cost."
