KUALA LUMPUR: After three months of last seeing his daughter, radio announcer Fizi Ali is allowed to be with his five-year-old daughter Nur Ameena Sofia for four days beginning March 1.
In a news report today, the radio personality, whose real name is Mohd Hafizudin Alimudin, 37, said that this decision had been made by his former wife Shakila Khoriri, 35, after a discussion with his lawyer after the first mention of hadanah (custody) claim case at the Syariah High Court in Shah Alam earlier today.
"I'm very happy and would like to express my gratitude to my lawyer, as now I'm allowed to be with my daughter Nur Ameena.
"Even just for four days, I'm extremely grateful," said Fizi, adding that there was no conditions given.
He said he would take his daughter to a water theme park before taking her to see his parents, whom he said were missing her too.
The hadhanah claim case filed by him on Dec 15 last year will resume on May 19.
Fizi and Shakilla married on Jan 18, 2018, and divorced in December 2021.
