#Showbiz: I seriously thought I would not make it, says TV drama producer

KUALA LUMPUR: Television drama producer Siti Rosmizah Semail was "prepared for the worst" when doctors told her that she had stage four Covid-19 last year.

"I was thinking that I would not make it. What began as an ordinary cough became so serious that I had to spend 18 days in hospital, five of which saw me fighting for my life in the Intensive Care Unit," said Siti Rosmizah in an interview with Berita Harian Online yesterday.

The 'Andai Itu Takdirnya' producer is thankful to God for giving her a second chance to live.

"While in hospital I told television station Astro that if anything happens to me, they should continue with my drama.

"Even when I was terribly sick, I kept thinking and worrying about my drama not being completed on time."

Rosmizah, who has survived leukaemia, needs two years to fully recover from Covid-19.

"I still need to breathe with help from an oxygen tank at night," she said.
