KUALA LUMPUR: Musician AG Coco of rock group Hujan who now lives in the United Kingdom has been suffering from chronic kidney disease since last year.
AG or Mohd Hezry Mohd Hafidz said in an interview with Harian Metro Online yesterday that he had to make regular visits to Kuala Lumpur for follow-up medical treatment.
"These visits are specially arranged by my doctors and I to coincide with my band's performances. The treatment has been helpful and I am feeling much better now," he said, adding that he strictly monitored his diet on doctors' orders.
"Thank God it is a stage three illness and I do not have to go for dialysis."
AG and Hujan will be participating in Showcase Jiwa Kacau 2024 at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil on June 22.
The showcase also features Bunkface, Kugiran Masdo, Insomniakcs, Nidji and Luqman Podolski.
