#Showbiz: 'I dreamt of meeting Sarah, and felt worried' — Watie

KUALA LUMPUR: Entrepreneur Watie Hanifiah, 36, recently dreamt of her comedian and businessman husband Shuib's late wife Siti Sarah Raissuddin, and felt a little worried.

Watie, who married Shuib in June last year said in a Harian Metro report yesterday that award-winning singer Sarah, who died of Covid-19 in 2021, looked calm and smiled at her even though she did not say anything.

"In the dream, I was happy to see Sarah but at the same time, I was a bit worried. I had a feeling that she wanted to take her husband and children back," said Watie.

Watie added that she asked Sarah if she wanted to meet her children as they greatly missed her, but Sarah did not reply.

"I believe my dream of Sarah was triggered by (Shuib's and Sarah's daughter) Talita Zahra's occasional dreams of meeting her mother," she said.

When Watie told Shuib about her "meeting" with Sarah, he assured her that Sarah had okayed her entry into the family, since she had fulfilled her duties as a good wife and stepmother.

"Shuib said, there was no way Sarah would want to take me and the children away as she had chosen me. We both had a good laugh," said Watie.

Shuib and Sarah were married in 2011 and they have four children Uwais Alqarni, 12, Talita Zahra, 11, Ariq Matin, 6, and Ayash Affan, 2.
