KUALA LUMPUR: Hari Raya Aidilfitri is just around the corner and actress Anna Jobling is busy sending Raya greeting cards to her fans.
This year she plans to send 1,000 of them to fans in four countries — Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Brunei.
Anna, 23, said in a news report yesterday that it was a Hari Raya tradition for her to send Raya cards to as many fans as possible.
"This is the second year in which I am sending greeting cards with a personal touch to fans. I greatly appreciate their support all these years and I want to thank them during this festive season," said Anna.
Anna added that she believed in the Raya tradition of sending greeting cards to friends and relatives as it was "slowly disappearing" with the advent of social media.
"I want to keep my Projek Kad Raya going in the years to come. Last year many fans told me that they loved it and urged me to make it an annual affair."
Anna said that her fellow artistes hailed her project and described her Raya cards as simple, but warm and attractive gifts.
