#Showbiz: TV9's Janji Berbaloi 149 with ST Rosyam Mart a success

KUALA LUMPUR: The third edition of the TV9 and ST Rosyam collaboration, Janji Berbaloi 149 campaign, which took place last Saturday at the supermarket's newest branch in Semenyih, Selangor was well-received by the local community.

Over 200 visitors lined up from 8.30am to get their hands on special packages priced as low as RM1.49 offered to the first 250 buyers as part of the campaign.

The project was organised to bring joy during Ramadan in line with the Ramadan and Syawal campaign organised by Media Prima Berhad (MPB), dubbed RaRa Macam Dulu-Dulu.

TV9 broadcast program and content general manager, Khairunnisa Kamarulzaman, said that the Janji Berbaloi 149 event aimed to reward loyal TV9 viewers and ST Rosyam customers.

"The reception for the campaign at the new ST Rosyam branch was so good that the special RM1.49 packs were sold out in less than 30 minutes.

"In conjunction with Ramadan, we offered 250 packs, one pack for one family to the earliest visitors.

"The special package worth more than RM60 was being offered to celebrate our loyal viewers whose support of TV9 has made it the No.2 television station in Malaysia," she said in a recent statement.

The special RM1.49 packs that were available from 10am during the event contained basic necessities such as 5kgs of rice, cooking oil, sugar, and chicken eggs.

Aside from getting the special Janji Berbaloi 149 packs, visitors also had the opportunity to meet TV9 Bulletin news presenters, Asri Badrun and Barr Zaizan, as well as famous actor and host of Nasi Lemak Kopi O, Fizo Omar.
