KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia announced two new colours for its full 7-seater crossover Bold Runabout Vehicle (BR-V).
The new colour options, Ignite Red Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic, will replace the existing Passion Red Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic colours respectively.
"We've previously introduced the colours for the all-new City Hatchback, City, and Civic - Meteoroid Gray Metallic colour for the Accord.
"These colours have been receiving good response from the market. In view of the good acceptance, we now continue to expand the new colours to the BR-V. The Ignite Red Metallic further elevates the attractiveness and bold appearance of the BR-V, while the Meteoroid Gray Metallic enhances its rugged look," said Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Hironobu Yoshimura.
"We are confident that the introduction of the new colour options will further excite customers who would like to purchase the BR-V," he added.
The facelifted BR-V has sold more than 5,700 units as at April this year since its launch in June 2020. Honda attributed the positive sales performance to its overall design that meets customers' needs for a 7-Seater with an appealing SUV design matched with drive performance and versatility.
Beneath its hood is a 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) that generates a maximum power output of 120PS. Paddle Shift is available in the V variant.
Trunk space is at 223 litres when all the seats are up. Multiple configurations allow owners to maximise the cargo space according to needs via the 60:40 One Touch Tilt and Tumble in the second row and 50:50 Tilt and Full Tumble in the third row, expanding the trunk space to 539 litres when the third-row seats are folded down.
Other features includes Tweeter Speakers, Cargo Light and Cabin Filter. The V variant's cabin comes with 7-inch Display Audio, leather seats, and gear knob with red finishing.
Auto Air Conditioning, Smart Entry and Push Start Button is a standard feature across all variants.
