Ital Auto opens new Ferrari showroom in KL [NSTTV]

KUALA LUMPUR: Ital Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the official importer and distributor for Ferrari cars in Malaysia, has officially launched its first showroom in the country. 

The new 3,826 squate feet showroom is located at Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur.

It houses two vehicle display bays, interactive displays and a unique Brand Experience video wall, and a customer lounge that is in accordance with the latest Ferrari corporate identity (CI) specifications. 

The latter is complimented by a Heritage Library.

Ferrari Ital also features a Ferrari Atelier which displays optional colours, equipment and materials with a broad range of aesthetics that can be applied in combination with Ferrari Tailor Made personalisation services on offer.

Most important of all is the returning attendees and staffs, retained by Ital Auto prior to officially taking over Ferrari Malaysia's operations, who are familiar to the services and needs of the Prancing Horse's brand expectations.

Essentially the aim of the place's design is to cater to the growing needs of new and seasoned Ferraristis in the region alike, which is in line with the signature Ferrari Showroom Experience. 

"Malaysia is home to a thriving community of passionate Ferrari owners and loyal brand enthusiasts. 

"Establishing the Ferrari Ital showroom in Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur was important for us to ensure that iconic Prancing Horse makes its mark right in the heart of the city centre, all while ensuring our facilities and services meet the high standards of automotive excellence synonymous with the brand," said Ital Auto executive director Zahir Kelvin Ong Abdullah.

Leveraging on its Ferrari customer experiences and company operations in Singapore, Zahir said the dealership aims to offer an improved and elevated experience to local customers both old and new. 

Zahir was joined by Ferrari Far East and Middle East Hub president Dieter Knechtel and Ital Auto Malaysia general manager Damien Woo during the launch of the new showroom, which also served as the local introductory venue for both the new Purosangue and Roma Spider.

The Purosangue is the latest recipient of Maranello's iconic, naturally-aspirated V12 engine, while the Roma Spider carries over the proportions, volumes and specifications of the highly successful Ferrari Roma with the added appeal of a retractable hard top.

"The Purosangue and Roma Spider are two models that have positively diversified Ferrari's product mix since their respective introductions. 

"It is fitting that these cars are celebrated together with the launch of the new Ferrari Ital Auto Malaysia showroom. I am pleased that Ital Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd has secured such a strategic location in the heart of the city for the benefit of our local Ferrari community." said Dieter.

Dieter said the new partnership came with endless possibilities and all the potential to further improve the Ferrari brand experience within the region. 

He added that the decision for Ferrari to switch partners did not come easy either, but was a necessary one in line with the brand's service vision, as new partnerships would cost a huge amount of time and investment to build up the necessary trust that the brand can rely on.
