SUBANG JAYA: Police officers from the special task force investigating the abduction of prominent deputy-public prosecutor Kevin Anthony Morais pulled out a dark-coloured barrel from the bushy area in Subang Mewah, USJ 1 here about 8am today.
The barrel, suspected to be containing human remains, was then put on the road for inspection by forensics experts.
It is learnt that investigators were waiting for the arrival of hospital pathologist experts before they open the barrel.
Meanwhile, a team of seven firemen and two medical personnel with a fire engine and an ambulance from the Subang Jaya station arrived at the scene near a vernacular school here about 9am.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) said the team was despatched to assist in breaking a concrete-filled barrel.
