KUALA LUMPUR: Proton Holdings Bhd today introduced the new executive variant of the Saga and Persona cars, which are enhanced cosmetically to appeal to the younger market.
On the road price range for the Saga Executive is between RM41,000 and RM44,374 for manual transmission while the automatic transmission ranged from RM42,450 to RM46,974.
For the manual transmission Persona Executive, the price ranged from RM47,250 to RM52,388 while the automatic transmission cost between RM50,050 and RM55,388.
“Six colours are available for the Saga Executive, namely, Tranquility Black, Fire Red, Genetic Silver, Blue Rock, Solid White and Elegant Brown while the Persona Executive is available in seven colours, namely, Tranquility Black, Fire Red, Genetic Silver, Solid White, new colour Elegant Brown, Bronze Garnet and Chiffon Green,” Proton said in a statement here today.
The Saga Executive comes with a three-year or 60,000 km manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first, while the Persona Executive comes with a two-year or 50,000 km manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first.
Chief Executive Officer Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah said the national automotive manufacturer was also offering three years free service to successful registrations.
The Proton Saga Executive and Persona Executive are now officially open for booking nationwide but display units in the showrooms in Sabah and Sarawak would only be available on July 17. -- Bernama
