BUKIT MERAH: FANCY breaking fast by the lakeside? Bukit Merah Laketown Resort’s Kafe Le Lac in Semanggol, here, is offering a Ramadan buffet with the theme Berbuka Puasa di Tepi Tasik until July 27.
Executive chef Zainal Barkis and executive sous chef Mohd Faizal Nasir Mohamad are preparing 70 dishes comprising appetisers, main courses and desserts.
Faizal said they would be preparing mainly Malay food and Middle Eastern dishes.
The appetisers include ulam, kerabu, mutton soup and bubur lambuk.
The signature dishes include nasi Mandy, ayam asam pedas Melaka, kambing and ayam panggang herba Timur Tengah, ayam inchi kabin, ikan talang masin nenas and gulai kawah.
The action stations feature grilled fish, pizza murtabak, roti canai, roti tempek telur and fried kway teow.
Desserts include tarts, dodol, cakes, Malay kuih and jelly.
The buffet is priced at RM42 nett for adults and RM29 for children, senior citizens and the disabled.
