FASHION designer Jovian Mandagie is loved for his masterful designs, which enhance a women’s femininity and elegance.
For Hari Raya, he has once again captured the hearts of fashionistas with the Jovian Mandagie For Zalora capsule collection. Jovian introduces 45 pieces of modern and traditional baju kurung, peplum kurung and dresses.
“There will be something for all women for Hari Raya or any other occasion,” he says.
His collection is inspired by the romance and demure sophistication of chantilly, a classic French lace loved for hundreds of years and made by the best artisans in the world. Chantilly is appreciated for its fine aesthetics, outlined pattern and abundant details.
His collection juxtaposes pastel and bright colours. Commenting on his choice of colours, he explains: “Both pastel and bright shades are used to widen the choices for wearers.”
EXQUISITE DETAILS
Jovian says the collection features a lot of detailing and embellishments.
“This collection carries all the feminine aesthetics and offers the look and feel of elegance and allure for wearer,” he says.
All details such as lace embroidery, crystal and stone and glass beads, are carefully chosen and matched.
“This collection will make women look and feel beautiful. This is important for me and is always the basis of my designs. The exquisite details you see in the pieces are meant to highlight the beauty of the wearer, giving her a sophisticated confidence and making her feel like the most beautiful woman in the room,” he says.
Keeping in mind our climate and regional style preferences, Jovian has picked polycrepe, chiffon and lace for this collection.
