ALOR STAR: Twenty-six children were delivered at the Sultanah Bahiyah hospital Alor Star today.
The hospital recorded 26 deliveries as of 6pm on the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri bringing a smile to many families as they celebrated their newborns on such a special occasion.
Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital director Datuk Dr Juita Mohd Ghazali said there were 16 boys and 11 girls including a set of twins born in conjunction with the first day of syawal.
"Including the twins there were 26 deliveries and 27 children born as of 6pm today," she added.
