ALOR STAR: Environment Idaman Sdn Bhd has come up with a recycling campaign to raise funds for the victims of Gaza.
The Gaza Recycling Fund aims to raise at least RM100,000 for the war victims.
The campaign, which was launched by Water Supply and Resources Committee chairman Badrulhisham Hashim, is on until Aug 10.
“Unlike other campaigns, it does not involve any cash.
“Anyone wishing to contribute need only send recyclable items to the collection centre.”
He said the public could also make a contribution by purchasing recyclable items at the collection centres.
They are located at Stadium Darul Aman, Alor Star, Amanjaya Mall, Sungai Petani, Kulim Landmark Central, Kulim and Pantai Cenang in Langkawi. By Jasmime Kaur
