NAZA Italia helps boost Maserati sales

KUALA LUMPUR: Maserati sales in the South-East Asia and Pacific (SEAP) region in the first six months of 2014 grew by 214 per cent compared with the same period last year.

In a statement today, its exclusive distributor, NAZA Italia Sdn Bhd, said of the sales, Malaysia contributed with 144 per cent domestic growth in the same period.

NAZA Italia said the increase in sales has been largely attributed to the introduction of the new Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli.

NAZA Group of Companies’ joint group executive chairman, Datuk Wira SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin, said the company was proud to contribute to Maserati’s extraordinary first-half growth in the SEAP region.

"We will continue to invest in the brand in order to reach new customers and improve the ownership experience of current Maserati owners as we have plans to enhance our facilities stem from our dedication to deliver products and services of the highest quality to our valued customers," he said.-- Bernama
