KUALA LUMPUR: Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd (Kenanga Investment) has issued eight new European style cash-settled call warrants over the ordinary shares for eight companies.
They are for Alliance Financial Group Bhd, AMMB Holdings Bhd, Eastern and Oriental Bhd, Globetronics Technology Bhd, Hong Leong Industries Bhd, KNM Group Bhd, Petronas Dagangan Bhd and Supermax Corporation Bhd.
In a statement, Kenanga Investment said the call warrants would be listed on the Structured Warrants Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd with tenures of approximately ten months and an issue size of up to 100 million each.
They would be priced at 15 sen each with effective gearing ranging from 2.88 times to 5.32 times, the bank said.
Executive director and head of equity broking Lee Kok Khee said for this year, the bank's Equity Derivatives and Structured Products division had offered a broad range of favourite sectors, including the recent listing of these eight new call warrants.
"This is in line with our efforts to expand further our product portfolio to better meet investors’ demand for trading opportunities and alternative investments," he said.-- Bernama
