KOTA KINABALU: The High Court was told of the gruesome injuries sustained by six police personnel who were killed during last year's attack in Kampung Simunul, Semporna.
Investigation officer Inspector Jamirin Kintai referred the court with several photographs showing bodies of the brutally murdered policemen.
They are Superintendent Ibrahim Lebar, Assistant Superintendant Michael Anak Padel, Sergeant Baharin Hamid, Sergeant Abdul Azis Sarikon, Corporal Salam Togiram and Corporal Mohd Azrul Tuliman.
During examination-in-chief by deputy public prosecutor Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar, Jamirin said most of the victims had slashed wound on their head and body.
He took the stand as 32nd witness at the trial against 30 individuals charged with various offences linked to the armed incursion in Kampung Tanduo, Lahad Datu and the March 2 Simunul attack in Semporna.
