Join the adventure with KFC as they kick-start the KFC Tasty Travel Series by bringing flavours of Thailand to Malaysia, offering patrons a taste of the authentic Thai green curry dish.
There are two new items on the menu such as the KFC Bangkok Green Curry Chicken Meals and Zinger Green Curry Burger.
Made with a sultry blend of spices, chilies, garlic and many ingredients, the Bangkok green curry was originally created by KFC Thailand.
The chicken meal, which consists of the green curry, hot steamy white rice together with the hot and spicy chicken blends well with one another.
The zinger burger is also a must-try. Fans of the burger will be surprised to know how well the green curry sauce complements the spicy zinger fillet topped with diced onions.
“This great combination of these meals makes for a scrumptious treat that will please your appetite and take your taste buds on a little journey to Thailand,” said KFC Malaysia senior vice-president Ling Mee Jiuan.
QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd general manager of marketing Kelvin Hong said the KFC Tasty Travel Series will also cover different types of meals from various other countries as well, so consumers can expect interpretations of international cuisine from around the world during the duration of this promotion.
“KFC embarked on this platform to bring the unique taste of various cities’ best flavour so there is no need for you to travel far to taste the most tantalising dishes around the world. There will be more destinations to come, so keep a look out.”
The Bangkok Green Curry Chicken Meals is available in several combo options. The Combo A option includes two pieces of chicken, green curry, white rice, coleslaw served with carbonated drink, for RM11.95, while Combo B offers three pieces of chicken, green curry, white rice and carbonated drink at RM14.30.
For the Green Curry Feast A, which can serve four to five people, it includes nine pieces of chicken, three white rice, three green curry, three coleslaw, and four regular carbonated drinks for RM39.90.
On the other hand, the Green Curry Feast B includes 15 pieces of chicken, four white rice, one large whipped potato, one large cheezy wedges, three green curries and a bottle of Pepsi for RM69.90. The green curry can also be bought as an add on for RM1.90.
The Zinger Green Curry Burger is available ala carte at RM7.75 and priced at RM9.95 for the combo which includes one regular carbonated drink and three pieces of potato waffles.
The promotion is only available for a month at KFC restaurants nationwide.
