IPOH: KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital is organising the KPJ 3-on-3 Perak Muhibbah 2014 Challenge Trophy for two days from Sept 13.
Supported by Winner Sports Enterprise, the badminton tournament will be held at SJK (C) Yuk Choy, here.
There will be six categories, namely open mixed, novice mixed, men novice, ladies novice, junior veteran and senior veteran.
An entry fee of RM135 per team for open mixed event and RM120 per team (other categories) will be charged.
KPJ Ipoh deputy chairman Ahmad Nasirruddin Harun said the tournament was part of the hospital’s effort in providing opportunities for participants to showcase their talents and agility in a muhibbah environment.
“Sports can strengthen ties and create healthy lifestyles,” he said.
Winners of each category, added Ahmad Nasirruddin, would get a challenge trophy, T-shirts, rackets and cash vouchers.
Participants will also receive a T-shirt each.
The last day to register is Saturday.
