ALOR STAR: A car wash worker was sentenced to death by the High Court here after he was found guilty of drug trafficking in Sungai Petani last January.
Judicial Commissioner Datuk Mohd Zaki Abdul Wahab sentenced A. Nagendran, 28, after the defence failed to raise a reasonable doubt against the prosecution's case.
Nagendran was charged with trafficking in 21.4 g of heroin and 6.1g of monoacetylmorphine at house No 58, Jalan Belakang Hospital Sungai Petani about 12.10pm on Jan 5.
