PKR must work hard ahead of 12th Sarawak general election

SHAH ALAM: PKR will need to settle the leadership crisis in Selangor, in order for it not to adversely affect the party’s preparations for the coming 12th state election in Sarawak.

The party's Baram division deputy chairman, Roland Enggan, said this is necessary as Selangor and Penang were "model states" for Sarawak, which proved Pakatan's capabilities in governing both states.

"We must gain control in Sarawak, not just win more seats," he said, adding that Barisan Nasional was gaining ground in the state since Tan Sri Adenan Satem came into power as chief minister.

Speaking at the PKR Congress here today he added that the delegates and leaders should not wait until the last minute before the state election has been called to campaign in the state.
