Renaissance KL celebrates with special children

KUALA LUMPUR: Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel recently held a Hari Raya celebration with 50 special children at Tasputra Perkim to strengthen ties with the community.

Caretakers and volunteers of the non-profit daycare centre also joined in the festivities, which included a sumptuous meal specially prepared by the hotel executive chef Andrea Conte and her kitchen team.

Renaissance Kuala Lumpur sales and marketing director Ivy Ng said the organisation of community activities was part of the responsibilities of a socially responsible hotel.

“The spirit of sharing and caring has long been inculcated and nurtured at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur, which is why hosting an event that reaches out to the public is significant to us,” she said.

Tasputra Perkim chairman Elahe Norman said the centre was happy to share the festivities with the hotel team.

“It is always great to form a strong partnership with corporate bodies that support the objectives of our establishment,” she said.
