KUALA LUMPUR: Two MIC leaders were today sworn in as senators for the second term.
They are Petaling Jaya MIC Division chairman V. Subramaniam and Selangor Wanita MIC chief S. Bagiam Ayem Perumal.
They were sworn in before Dewan Negara President Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang.
Subramaniam, 59, and Bagiam, 55, were first appointed as senators in August 2011.
