IPOH: Two semi-nude models in a photo shoot made heads turn in Jalan Sultan Yussuf here yesterday.
The shirtless male model was wearing a bow tie and black pants while his female partner was clad in a two-piece white bikini and laced veil over her head.
Their pictures also made their rounds on social media yesterday, with many questioning the couples’ motive. The photographer, who identified himself as Koo, said he was surprised by the furore that his pictures had created.
“They are just models and they are dressed like that as we want to explore creativity.”
Koo said he had also considered the legal repercussions before going ahead with the photo shoot.
He said the uproar in social media might be because seeing a bikini-clad woman on the streets was not common on this part of the world.
“Don't overreact. It is just a photo shoot by models,” said Koo, who has been a photographer for 20 years.
State police chief Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said police had yet to receive any report on the matter.
