Chevrolet aims to sell 2,400 units of Malibu LTZ

KUALA LUMPUR: NAZA Quest Sdn Bhd targets to sell 2,400 units of its brand new Chevrolet Malibu LTZ executive sedan in the next 12 months, driving on positive track record of the model regionally.

"We expect this new model to contribute around 10 to 12 per cent to our total sales during the same period," its chief operating officer Norzahid Mohd Zahudi told reporters after the launch of the model here, today.

The Chevrolet Malibu LTZ is priced at RM153,888 on-the-road, excluding insurance and road tax, with warranty package of five years or 20,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

The sedan incorporates innovative features including remote engine start with passive entry push start button system, tyre pressure monitoring system, high-pressure headlight washers, electric power operated parking brake and auto headlamp system with auto levelling.

NAZA Group of Companies Joint Group executive chairman, Datuk Wira SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin said the qualities of the Chevrolet Malibu was in line with NAZA Group's mission of delivering vehicles of the highest quality to Malaysian drivers.

Also present at the launch were president of General Motors Southeast Asia Operations, Tim Zimmerman and vice president of Four Wheels Division of NAZA Group of Companies, David Hector Ratnaike.-- Bernama
