KUALA PERLIS: Kuala Perlis Smuggling Prevention Unit (UPP) early today seized an oil tanker laden with 28,000 litres of petrol worth RM62,720.
The UPP team flagged down the tanker which was driven in a suspicious manner at Jalan Tun Razak, Kangar at about 4.30am.
During the inspection, the tanker driver had failed to provide valid document and the vehicle was later brought back to Kuala Perlis UPP base for further inspection under Section 21 of the Control of Supplies Act 1961.
