KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) has proposed to acquire 30 per cent interest in PJ Sentral Development Sdn Bhd from the Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS) for RM85.3 million.
PJ Sentral, which will be developed as part of PJ Sentral Garden City, a mixed development project, is poised to be the new green central business district of Selangor and easily accessible via major highways.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, MRCB said the acquisition was not expected to have any material impact on the earnings of MRCB for the financial year ending December 31, 2014 as it was only expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2014.-- Bernama
