KUALA LUMPUR: Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd’s 70 per cent-owned subsidiary, Doshin Rubber Products (M) Sdn Bhd, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Rail Transit (IRT) of Tongji University in China to design, manufacture and market development of rubber pads for floating tracks. The MoU stipulates that Doshin will manufacture the rubber pads based on designs supplied by IRT, while IRT will promote relevant products manufactured by Doshin for China’s urban rail projects. The company said the IRT will provide technical support to any projects outside China upon the request of the other party. The MoU will remain for two years.
