KUALA LUMPUR: Tanjong Golden Village (TGV) Cinemas, Malaysia’s leading owners and operators of premier cinemas recently launched its loyalty programme, the TGV Cinemas MovieClub.

TGV Cinemas chief executive officer Gerald V. Dibbayawan said the MovieClub was a rewards programme for its loyal customers.

“It is a key initiative to improve the movie-going experience for TGV patrons. The purpose is to provide the best cinema experience for our customers and to reward them for choosing TGV Cinemas as the place to enjoy watching movies.”

Dibbayawan encourages cinemagoers aged 18 and above, to sign up for the club with a membership fee of RM28.

Upon registration, members would receive Welcome Freebies, comprising two complimentary movie tickets and a regular popcorn set. Members of the MovieClub would also enjoy the following benefits, with a total value of RM68:

• Birthday freebies; two complimentary tickets and a regular popcorn set during their birthday month;

• Exclusive invitations to movie premieres and screenings;

• Members-only advance ticketing privilege;

Dibbayawan said members would also earn MovieMoney each time they spend at TGV Cinemas.

“MovieMoney could be used to pay for items such as advanced movie tickets, candy bar items, food and drinks from our F&B outlets — Chill*X, INDULGE and Vie Cafe.”

“Besides movie promotions, special discounts and invitations, we would be adding special offers from time to time. Currently, these benefits are just the beginning.”
