As part of its network expansion, UMW Toyota Motor has opened branches in Kulai and Tawau to cater to Toyota vehicles, and Kuching and Ipoh for Lexus vehicles.

Another branch meant for Lexus vehicles in Malacca will begin operations in December.

Ismet said to date, UMW Toyota Motor has 99 Toyota and Lexus sales and after-sales service, and dealerships nationwide.

“We strongly believe that the automotive industry will continue to grow, thus we will continue to strengthen our operations to meet our sales target of more than 100,000 units this year in order to achieve a market share of close to 15 per cent.”

On customers’ satisfaction, he said UMW Toyota Motor was ranked number one in the Customer Service Index and Sales Satisfaction Index categories in Malaysia this year. Bernama
