DPM and family perform Haj

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin left for Mecca today to perform the haj pilgrimage.

The commercial flight that took Muhyiddin, his wife Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman and family members to the holy land departed the KL International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang at about 3.30pm.

It was a direct flight between Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah, according to a statement from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.

Muhyiddin is expected to be back in the country on Oct 10.
