KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian rubber prices rebounded to close mixed today on the ringgit weakening against the US dollar, a dealer said.
He said the uptrend in regional markets and a surge in prices of other commodities such as crude oil and copper also impacted the local rubber market.
The noon benchmark Malaysian Rubber Board official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 rose by three sen to 474 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk dippped one sen to 378.50 sen a kg.
The 5pm unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 increased three sen to 474 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk dropped 0.5 sen to 378 sen a kg.-- Bernama
