SILK slips into RM19m Q4 net loss

KUALA LUMPUR: SILK Holdings Bhd posted net losses of RM19.09 million in the fourth quarter ended July 31 this year, marginally down from RM20.76 million posted a year ago, from a drop in its investment holdings. SILK yesterday said revenue was up 2.5 per cent to RM74.38 million compared with RM72.56 million a year ago. Group pre-tax profit increased to RM12.4 million from RM8.2 million due to improved vessel utilisation and charter rates.
