KUALA TERENGGANU: PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang returned to Malaysia yesterday evening after being discharged from a medical centre in Turkey where he had been warded.
His political secretary, Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said although Hadi's health had improved, he had been advised to take a rest for a while.
"Hence, it is hoped that everyone would give enough room for the PAS president to fully recover before he could meet with people and attend to party activities," he said in a statement today.
Hadi was warded at the medical centre in Turkey after having breathing difficulty while attending a conference in Istanbul last month. -- BERNAMA
